Required Qualifications
To ensure the highest level of quality and safety in our caregiver network, Living Life at Home Nurse Registry has established a set of required qualifications for all applicants. These qualifications serve as essential criteria to uphold our commitment to providing compassionate and reliable care to our clients across south Florida.
- CNA license, LPN license, or HHA training certificate. We require all RN’s (Registered Nurse), LPN’s (Licensed Practical Nurse), and CNA’s (Certified Nursing Assistant) to hold a valid professional license. HHA’s (Home Health Aide) training certificate.
- Qualified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and (CPR) certification card. CPR certification is essential for emergency response situations.
- Test for tuberculosis (TB). A TB test is necessary to ensure the safety of caregivers and clients (not required, but highly recommended)
- Level two criminal background screening. To maintain the highest standards of safety and trust, we conduct thorough background checks on all our caregivers.
- In-services. Continuous education and training are vital for staying updated with the latest healthcare practices and protocols.
- Work authorization. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience working with individuals diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson’s disease, possessing a minimum of two years of experience as a CNA or HHA, and demonstrating open availability for various shifts.
